How To Win Your Fantasy Football League
If you've been watching the t.v. show, "The League" or are extremely caught up in the FFL whirlwind (I have 5 teams so far and counting), then you have probably created a Fantasy Football team. Now, what? Well, I am the best person to ask, since I have won two Fantasy Football League's number one spot and I will help you dominate yours. (I feel sorry for the people who are in my league because I will dominate). I have created some nice, simple rules to oblige by and I hope they help you and others out, too.
It's Okay to Draft Known Players
If you listen to the 'experts' on ESPN or any other sports network, they might tell you that drafting "well-known players" isn't such a good idea. Well, I have always played "well-known players" (i.e. Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Adrian Peterson, Dez Bryant, Michael Vick) and they have scored me major points on my fantasy football team. They are popular because they do well and most of the time they will do well, but everyone is human and people make mistakes and get hurt. Right now, Peyton Manning is sidelined with a neck injury and no one is sure when he will be back, if at all. He could be back, but that is a risk you as an owner will have to take.
Don't Listen To The Experts
The 'experts' think they know who is going to rack up the most points and they might, but do NOT, I repeat, do NOT listen to them. I listened to the guys on 'Fox NFL Sunday' and my team fell flat by week 3. Go with what your gut is saying because you know what is best for you!
Do Your Research
As I mentioned before, Peyton Manning is injured. If you want to do well and maintain your high score status, you will have to research players and see how they played in the offseason (which really shouldn't matter, but you should still take a quick glance at their Stats) and if they are injured. If you don't do your research, you could end up drafting Peyton Manning or some other 'dud' because you didn't know he was injured and get stuck by not being able to release him off your team.
Hope Other Owners in Your League Aren't Playing
There is a slight chance that you may have entered into a league on a whim and you don't know one single owner in that league. You are in luck! I've entered myself into leagues where I didn't know a SOUL and I was able to rack up points because I was the only team owner changing out my players every week and maintaining my team as a whole. This, however, is luck and I would not bank on this happening every single time.
Talk A lot of Smack
It'll show people that you aren't scared and you may impress some owners, but you could really tick them off, but that's the fun of it!
I hope I was able to help others out there with some insight into owning a Fantasy Football team. If you are ever in doubt about a player or naming your Fantasy Team, I am more than happy to help!
Thanks for reading.

I Am HOOKED On Skydiving!
The view from the plane.
So, on Saturday I went skydiving for the first time and I am hooked! I had the pleasure of going jumping with Skydive Tulsa and I would really recommend them. I have posted some pictures of the trip down to planet Earth and I hope you enjoy!
Me on the plane.
Here's me about to let go of the plane.
I'm free falling!
The view was amazing!
We are about to land.
One of the most exhilerating things I have ever done.
Back on solid ground.

"LSU QB Arrested, Kicked Off Team Indefinitely"
Photo courtesy of Louisiana State Gameday.
Ah, just what LSU and the NCAA wanted: another headache. QB Jordan Jefferson, along with LB Josh Johns, were arrested Friday, after arrest warrants had been issued. The boys have been charged with second-degree battery. This is a HUGE blow to #4 LSU and getting into a bar fight, no matter what was said, is not appropriate. You are representing a school and you are the leader of a team that has the chance of winning a National Championship and you have completely blown it and for what? If someone disrespected my family/loved ones, words would definitely would be thrown around, but not my fists. You as a player have a lot riding on your shoulders and someone wanted to 'ruffle' your feathers and you allowed them to do so. Anger is a problem and in some men and women, that anger can get them into huge trouble, as it did Friday. You have to be able to take a step back and take a deep breath and realize the scum bucket on the bar stool is just trying to get you upset so he can have a story to tell to his grandchildren. Jefferson, you are going places and this person, is not. I do not know what was said, but that person that you kicked is not worth getting kicked off the LSU football team. The lesson should be this: If you want to eventually play in the NFL, stay out of trouble with the law. Wait, on second thought, do exactly it is you are doing, kids. If Adam 'Pacman' Jones can be arrested five times, Michael Vick can be convicted of running a dog-fighting operation, Plaxico Burress can shoot himself in the leg with an illegal gun and be convicted and Ben Roethlisberger can behave the way he does off-the-field, then you are more than welcome to enlist your services to the NFL because they'll welcome you with open arms, starting with the guy below, Roger Goodell, first in line.

I Guess Pete Carroll Doesn't Want To Focus On Winning
Words of advice, Pete. This isn't USC anymore. You're in the NFL and in the NFL, if you don't win games, you're out, but I guess you already know that since this is your SECOND try in the NFL as a head coach. Try to focus on winning instead of pranking your players.

'The Eagles Will Win Super Bowl XLVI'

1. Will T.O.’s body get any hotter?
Sorry, I was distracted by the above picture. Now, I have drool all over my keyboard. You were saying…
2. Will the Brady and OchoCinco mesh well together?
Moss and Brady was the ideal couple. Chad will end up pouting by the fourth or fifth game.

3. Will Terry, Howie, Michael and Jimmie on Fox NFL Sunday’s get any cooler?
If they hire me, the answer is yes.
4. Why did JB leave Fox NFL Sunday for CBS’ Sunday Football Program and does it even have a name?
I am still scratching my head and I am still dumbfounded. The man leaves the most popular Sunday NFL pregame show for CBS’ pregame show. Money really does talk.
5. What should my Fantasy Football League name be?
I think I’m going with ‘Favre’s Cell Phone’.
6. Will Ray Lewis ever learn new moves?
I would like to see him ‘Dougie’, but if starts dancing to a Justin Bieber song, I will not watch Ravens games.
7. Will Plexico Burress succeed in New York ?
Did you see that diving catch? The man will be just fine.
8. What do you think of Rex Ryan’s tattoo?
If my dad got that, I would look into getting adopted.

9. Will my future baby daddy, Peyton Manning, recover from neck surgery anytime soon?
I saw him on the sidelines against the Redskins, above, and he looked extremely old and exhausted. You’re only 35-years old, Peyton. Wipe that look off your face! The answer to this question is no. The poor guy looks tired and I think he's enjoy the break, but not the the recovery process.
10. Will Albert Haynesworth stomp on a Patriots player?
Only time will tell. (Check out the video, but it's pretty disturbing.)

11. Will Tony Romo find his A-game?
If he didn’t find anyone playing ‘Hide and Seek’ at his Bachelor party, then the answer is no. He lost his game back in Mexico in 2008.
12. Will T.O. sign with anyone?
Ask him this question again when he’s done with his abdominal workout. Again, excuse me while I wipe up some drool… He may sign with a team after the season starts, but no one wants to put up with his diva behavior. T.O. word to the wise, just shut up and play the game. There is no ‘I’ in ‘team’. If you get the ball, that’s great. If not, then congratulate the guy who did. Support your team or you’re going to end up retiring like Randy Moss.
13. Will Pete Carroll ruin the Seattle Seahawks’ organization?
I hope he drives it into the ground and the NCAA comes after him, but a girl can only dream. Nothing says “We want a winning season” like hiring former Oakland Raiders’ head coach Tom Cable who has volatile anger issues. Sounds to me like a winning combination!

14. Will Larry Fitzgerald falter under pressure of his massive 8-year, $120 million dollar contract?
The only reason why he wouldn’t succeed is if Kevin Kolb couldn’t get him the ball. Fitzgerald is the best wide receiver in the game right now and also the highest-paid. All Kolb has to do is throw Fitzgerald the ball because ‘Fitz’ knows how to make plays. The Arizona Cardinals made it to the Super Bowl not three years ago and they have they have one of the best head coaches in the game (Ken Whisenhunt) that can get them there.

15. Will Kevin Kolb be the ‘savior’ the Cards have been looking for since Warner retired?
That’s why the Cardinals signed Kolb. He had success in Philly before Michael Vick came along, so he should be good to go.
Video courtsey of YouTube.
16. Will John Elway get rid of Tim Tebow?
Give Elway two weeks. Tebow isn’t an NFL-caliber QB. People who are popular in ‘high school’ always get hit with reality when they enter the real world and Tebow hit the ground hard in Denver . He may have succeeded at Florida and appeared in a Super Bowl ad, but that is only time he’ll appear in the Super Bowl.

17. Will Cam Newton be able to win more than 2-games this year as the starting QB?
No, he won’t. John Fox left and Steve Smith will make Newton look back. Here’s to Jimmy Clausen saving the organization!
Photo courtsey of ESPN.com.

18. Will Randy Moss really stay retired?
Like I stated before, Randy Moss still has it going on. He is 34-years old, he stays fit and can still make big plays. The ONLY thing holding a team back from signing him is because he is a D-I-V-A. Tom Brady and he broke the all-time touchdown record back in 2008, he holds the NFL single-season touchdown receptions record, 23 and he is NFL’s rookie player single-season touchdown reception record holder. The man needs to get over himself, just as Chris Johnson, OchoCinco and Terrell Owens need to do. Fans want to see you guys plays because you are AMAZING at what you do. American’s are suffering from ecomonic turmoil and the last thing we want to watch is a player acting like a DIVA because he didn’t get the ball or he isn’t getting paid enough. There are families who can’t pay their mortgages and the economy is in the toilet. Please, just STOP your demanding ways because there are a lot of people who have it a lot worse than you do.
19. Will I win my Fantasy Football League?
You bet I will!

20. Who will win the Super Bowl?
The Eagles will. They signed a lot of veteran and talented players this offseason: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Jason Babin, Vince Young, Ronnie Brown, Nnamdi Asomugha and Cullen Jenkins. They were the busiest team stocking up on talent and they will definitely make the biggest splash in the NFC. My money is on them.
There will be a lot going on in the NFL this season, so hopefully most of these questions will be answered and I am sure it is to be one heck of a ride, one that I am sure to enjoy!
